Peder Johnsen

Peder Johnsen is the Chief Executive Officer of Concordis Senior Living. Prior to establishing Concordis, Mr. Johnsen led the Hampton Manor assisted living communities for 14 years. Under his tenure, the company portfolio expanded from two original properties in Marion County, Florida, to seven facilities in Central Florida.

In addition to extensive experience in operations, he has overseen the development, acquisition, and financing of several communities. He teamed with Trent Watkins in 2008 to establish what is now Concordis Senior Living. Peder Johnsen's family has been engaged in the operation of senior living facilities for three generations.

Trent Watkins

Trent Watkins is President of Concordis. He has primary oversight for finance, legal affairs, development, and acquisitions. In addition, he served as development manager for the 89-unit Lexington Park community adjacent to The Villages in Central Florida. The project was financed through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 232 LEAN program.

Prior to joining Concordis, Mr. Watkins practiced law in Dallas, TX, specializing in commercial litigation and bankruptcy. He also serves as President of PWT Assets, LP, a partnership that develops and manages commercial and residential properties.

Trent Watkins earned a degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. His graduate education includes the study of tax and international law at the University of Oxford, England.

Travis Watkins

Travis Watkins is the Chief Financial Officer for Concordis Senior Living.  He oversees accounting, financial reporting and regulatory compliance, strategic planning and operating budgets.  Since joining the company, he also supervised the transition of the Hampton Manor communities into the Concordis brand.  Additionally, Travis Watkins has implemented accounting systems and integrated industry specific software to facilitate the company’s expansion plans.

 

Prior to joining Concordis, Travis Watkins worked several years for both Grubb & Ellis Company and later The Weitzman Group in the Austin, Texas market.  He handled general brokerage, specializing in retail project representation, retail tenant representation, retail investment sales and land sales.  In 2009, the Austin Business Journal recognized Watkins as a “Heavy Hitter,” in the retail broker rankings for Austin.  He earned the CoStar Power Broker Award as a Top 10 Retail Leasing Broker in 2009.  Prior to his commercial real estate career, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their assurance services group serving both public and private companies.

 

Travis Watkins earned both a Masters in Professional Accounting and a Bachelors of Business Administration while completing the Professional Program of Accounting curriculum from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant

Janet Soto

Janet Soto is Vice President of Sales & Marketing. She rejoined the Hampton Manor properties in 2007, after several years directing national sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to that, she worked as a senior executive in marketing, administration, and operations at Hampton Manor from 1999 to 2003. She has also held a variety of executive positions in marketing at Alterra Healthcare Corporation, which merged with Brookdale Senior Living, the nation's largest manager of senior living properties.

Janet Soto is a graduate of Mercy College in New York with a degree in finance and marketing.
